He decided to start tackling the windows on the house. He
wanted to have less of the windows covered to let more light in. He
also felt we needed to get a little more of our style going.
I made the skeleton for the cornice boxes, and Bill did all the sewing.
The Roman shades are from Lowe's.

Here are the 2 newly dressed windows in the master bedroom. |

Behind the cornice box on each window is a Roman shade that can be lowered. |

The material on the cornice is gathered up into hooks. |

For the master bathroom Bill made his own straps to hold up the material. |

He also sewed a matching round table skirt, a table topper, and recovered the chair to match. |

New duvet and pillow covers and the look is complete. |

The green carpeting will be going bye-bye shortly. |

In the family room Bill did a more casual look. |

|
He covered the window and door with simple scarfs that he made. |

And the door - Notice the nice cording he added. |

Another nice touch Bill did was reframe some family photos. That's my mom's high school picture in the middle, me on the left, and Bill on the right. |
